Sensor on Differential in 87 300E
I was examining a leak in my differential and noticed an electrical sensor of some type on the housing. What is the function of this sensor? Does it monitor fluid level?

This is an ABS sensor you have two in the front mounted on each spindle and one in the rear mounted on the side of the differential housing.
