resonance vale on 1998 m104.

Does this valve get vacuum signal?I don't know where it plgs to.My engine installer left a bunch unconnected

there a large about a inch long rubber hose that gets larger.Does it connect to a huge vacuum line.

The res valve is in the center of intake and between the throttle body and valve cover.

You might have some sort of chamber bolted under the black plastic intake ( towards the rear ) I think this is for noise. My 97 SL320 does not have it but my 97 E320 parts car does. Both have a M104, I don't have any info as to where the box is attached to as the E is still assembled.

It's vacuum comes directly from the intake manifold though there is a short legnth of hose that can dislodge if the valve is disassembled. The large piece you see is the vent for the valve when its powered down .
