I have pulled the head on my 1985 190e 2.3 to replace the head gasket. Since my compresion was a tad low, I deciced to put in new valve guides & seals. I removed the camshaft, only to find minor scoring on the bearing surfaces. What do I do about this? Can these be machined? I cannot find a listing for camshaft bearings.. looks like they are not available. Please.. anyone... help! I am waiting to install al the new parts. Thanks for any help.
