190e 2.6 (1990) heater blower suddenly stop working.

hi guys,
today while driving around, out of blue the blower motor stopped like i turned it all the way down to 1 setting. the other controls works. i can hear them click and change etc. i just removed to lube the wiper arm mechanics last week i wonder if i tear something up or something? here is my question, i am suspecting a blown fuse since it suddenly gone out. but i cant find the famous 3 amp ribbon fuse anywhere... i dont thing the switch is the problem since i havent touched it and it lights up. what should i look for? also i have the some heat coming while going fast from the side vents and i have the common stuck on heat problem. but since its winter and i have non working ac pump i was thinking to attack it next summer. any ideas how to make the blower work again? i havent done anything unusual other than remowing the wiper motor last week. i have to make the blower work again because cleveland is getting colder and colder.
