should i lubricate window motor?

motor i pulled out of door is dead, although gears move fine when i separate motor. i was able to find what looks like an identical motor from an 89 sel, although part number is different. it rotates freely and also under power.

my question is, before i try to install it, should i lubricate the motor? i have some synthetic lubrication spray, and also some 3in1 oil. there are two little holes at far end of motor (one of which has a plastic plug), are they for lubrication? thanks for any advice!

i will def add some grease to the gears.
