w124 flex disc replacement question
i'm doing the flex discs on the e320 coupe (and just in the nick of time i might add-pics to come) and the bolts that came wit the new ones look a lot less heavy duty (nuts are 13mm as opposed to 19mm, bolts have allen and torx heads and are much smaller head diameter)......question is this: should i consider reusing the 19mm hardware that i took out?

I would if the new ones are as flimsy as they sound. What brand flex disk did you go with? I used some from the dealer when I did the 4 speed swap on the 240D and they were good quality bolts.

I'd have to say that I'd look at the bolts and compare.
I'd reuse the original bolts/nuts (w/loktite) if I saw: 1. The diameter of the shank/threads different from original. 2. The bearing surface of the bolt head and nut was less than the original bolts. If you bought a URO part, save yourself some trouble and get a *good* quality part instead. Jim
