Unhappy w201 1991 potenchiometer

Hi gang, I am having a search problem with my 2.6, I have tried to get .5 but the best is 0.02 on the 20 volt setting (DC) I have pulled the contact or wipers out just a smidge for a stronger contact but has made no difference. the plate is set at the lower edge of throttle throat, I have a reading of 100 ohms, I am looking for suggestions. thanks JNT: confused:

^^^
1) Measure voltage between 1 & 2 pins
2) Install Poti's body to get voltage accordingly to diagram.

Diagram:
x = voltage between 1 & 2 pins
y = voltage between 1 & 3 pins
blue line = min value
green line = max value
red line = optimum value
So, for example, if you get 5,5 V between 1 & 2 set 0,6 V between 1 & 3.

Good luck!

And also you may measure current at EHA when installing poti.
It must be from -3 up to +3 mA at +80* C engine coolant temperature.
