Rear Hub Flange C280

Hello all can anyone tell me what I can do if tire shop stripped lug bolt hole on left rear wheel flange I'm not sure if it can be tapped or what has to be done.THANKS

What year car? You might be able to get parts from other non C cars.

Have a look on car-part.com this is a nation wide auto salvage yard inventory search. It will likely be much less $ to replace the hub / bearing / upright in one shot than it will be to repair the thread or replace the hub.

The only real repair would be a "timesert" threaded insert not a helicoil as the coils tend to lift an end / move when used in through holes that are frequently taken apart. .

Also, this might not be the fault of the tire shop, threads wear out and will gall even if properly put together. If they found the problem while removing the bolt, it wasn't the removers fault.

2000 C280 Sorry about that the year will help I'm not trying to blame anyone just not sure how to replace never had this happen before.
