Need help converting 95 E320 to microsquirt

Hi everyone! First Mercedes and I want to convert it to microsquirt for the following reasons
1-I have full control of the engine parameters
2-Cheap ( Entire computer and wiring harness is less than 400$)
3-Simple and reliable
4-Afraid of the original harness failing and dbw throttle body.

I have converted a LS1 Engine to run on microsquirt and its super easy. I even build entire engine harnesses from scratch for the LS series engine.

My plan is too...
Use a drive by cable throttle body like this
86 87 88 89 90 91 Mercedes Benz 300E W124 Throttle Body w TPS Sensor | eBay

Use GM coolant temp and IAT sensors

Hopefully the factory crank sensor will work on microsquirt. I dont know yet if it will.

How is the transmission controlled? Will this be an issue? Has anyone done this before with the factory fuel injection setup?
