How to check altitude sensor & EHA valve?

I bought a Palm Scan unit and it shows the altitude sensor system and EHA system to be bad on my '88 300E. The EHA is not leaking so what else can I check on it, and where is and what can I check on the altitude sensor. The main problem is a low idle speed when warmed up. (OVP fuses fine)
