Rattling, Knocking Noises 1998 C230 2.3

I just purchased a 1998 C230 2.3. When the weather is cold under 65 the car drives nice and not too much going on. As soon as it hits 70 and above when I make a RIGHT turn only I hear rattling/tapping and slight knocking noise. It does NOT do this on the other side. In the pic you will see that part of the Steering Center Drag Link seal that is connected to the lower control arm is cracked and I assume all the grease is out and its done for. This is the same side ( passenger side) that I hear the noise coming from. Would this cause the issue I described? Ive read elsewhere that wheel bearing could also be the culprit but I just cant be changing everything in this car. Any help is appreciated!!
