2010 Mercedes R350 Air Suspension Questions

Hey Guys,

I am having a problem with air leaks in the air suspension for the rear air Springs. The car does not have airmatic, so it only has the 2 air springs in the rear.

The questions that I have are where is the air compressor located and how are the air lines routed to the air springs. Are there any distributor or connectors between the air compressor and air spring?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would suggest you try the Mercedes Forum. They break the section down into specific models. You might have more exposure there. I have a '97 CL600 with a SLS suspension. that is hydraulic, not air actuated. Are you sure your car is not hydraulic? If so, there is a pump inside of the power steering assy that runs the system. mine consists of "accumulators, hydraulic struts and a leveling valve" Works perfectly. What problems are you having?

Rear air springs are by far the most common air suspension components to fail on your car. Just take them out and inflate them and water test them. Look for leaks at the fold/crease area.
