One window does nothing on W126

Here is the problem:

Drivers side front window does nothing. when you press the switch no noise at all. All three of the other windows work fine.

A new window regulator and switch was replaced on that window in 1996.

Any ideas? Bad motor?, short in wiring? I don't think it could be a fuse because I did a search and found out that the windows are cross connected, and if the fuse was bad the passenger rear window would also be out now. I don't know this for a fact but read a thread stating it.

Thanks.
