? 123 fuel guage specs

Aloha

Does anyone know the electrical specs for the fuel guage on the 123? My sender is shot and I am thinking of replacing it with a Bosch sender for $16.00 rather than a Mercedes OEM for $300 plus but I am wondering if I can wire it into my existing fuel guage or if I will need to mount a new guage. The specs on the Bosch are: Empty - 240 ohms; 1/2 - 130 ohms; Full - 33 ohms.

Anyone know if this will work?

Thanks so much!

ps Still looking for a Mercedes mechanic who wants to vacation in Hawaii in exchange for some work and education about our cars. You pay to get here and stay at our b&B for free. Its nice and WARM right now on Molokai... PM me if interested

ALSO I am parting out a couple of 123 wagons and have LOTS of parts for sale...
