Angry 1987 190e 2.3 A/C Problem

I was having problems with my ac compressor staying on, it was always on. I began looking for the klima relay, I looked where everyone told me to look, behind the battery by the firewll. All I could find is a small silver relay that someone pigtailed in where I assume the klima goes. I changed the relay that was pigtailed and the compressor shut off. It worked for a couple of days and now the compressor is back on, even with the climate control shut down. the big question is, should my car have a klima. Whomever pigtailed the relay did a very good job, very neat, I assume whomever did it knew what they were doing. Thanks Ed

Should I replace the icecube with a Klima relay ? My concern is that the ice cube relay is not wired corectley, which could be the cause of the first compressor failure. The klima
if anyone has the kilma socket number to icecube five pin relay number please post it. 1987 190E 2.3 Thanks Ed
