HFMScan codes 36 and 84

My 1994 Mercedes E320 wagon have hfmscan codes 36 and 84. Error 36 is fuel adaptation on lambda control, while Error 84 is short-term self-adjustment idle. I cleared/reset both codes and the hfmscan shows no errors. However, the next day I started the 1994 Mercedes E320 and will not fire up. After checking the fuel pump relay, the OVP relay, crankshaft position sensor, and the fuel pressure regulator, the car starts and run. When using the hfmscan to check on the error codes again, both code 36 and 84 showed up. I searched this forum and it seems there is nothing or very little information to resolve both error codes issues. Anybody out there have these issues? If so, what are the solutions to fix the error codes 36 and 84? Do I need to replace the 02 oxygen sensor near the exhaust area? What am I missing here other than clearing/reset the error codes? Feedback/comments is greatly appreciated.
