I will be purchasing a good used one soon to eliminate that ^(or is there a way to test?)
Around the fuel dist there seems to be a fuel or a mix of oil accumulating around it which is odd.
Last night farting around the car and playing with the throttle linkage while the car was off, I have now developed a high idle in drive and park. It idles around 1000 in drive and 1500-2000 rpm in park and neutral. If i press down on the throttle plate the car dies, its also dirty with the same oily substance around the fuel dist in there(it has done this since i got the car)

so farting around again with it, throttle mircoswwitch ? if i push back on the throttle linkage the revs drop down to about 8-900 which is still high but am I barking up the right track? Also the cars stumbles out if throttle plate is pushed down.
