AFTER replacing the seals on two cyl's I read the manual.
The old seals were installed with the spring facing up & metal cup down. Not knowing any better, I did the same. The manual diagrams look like it should be the other way around.
Which is correct??
And if the spring goes down, can I pull off the 4 seals already installed, and correct them, or did I already F them up and need new?
