215 CL55 - ABC and PS - Which Fluid?

2002 CL55 AMG, with M113... vehicle is equipped with ABC; as such the vehicle utilizes a tandem hydraulic fluid pump, which supplies pressurized fluids for the ABC and power steering systems. The vehicle is equipped with a single piece molded plastic hydraulic fluid reservoir, with one chamber supplying the ABC system and the other chamber supplying the PS system. There is no communication between the two chambers. Each circuit is equipped with a filter element. The ABC side uses the appropriate hydraulic fluid (M-B # Q 1 32 0001); what is the proper fluid for the power steering section?

The local M-B dealer states that ABC fluid is used in both chambers of these fluid reservoirs. Yet inspection of the reservoirs' current contents reveals a green fluid in the ABC section and a straw colored fluid in the power steering section.

Is the dealer correct? Does the power steering system require the same fluid as the ABC system?

Thanks.

Yes, both systems utilize the CHF11s fluid (Q 1 32 0001).

Yeah they say pentosin on both sides, but most I've seen have regular ole power steering fluid in the power steering side, which I personally prefer. Pentosin has some very aggressive detergents that I feel may do more harm than good in the steering system, especially if the seals have already been conditioned with the other stuff.
