Suddently my transmission is slipping between the 2 to 3 gear. Checked the oil level and it appears fine, but I was getting a slow drip for a few weeks before, so I watching the oil level.

Could I be looking at one of the k valve spring or a total rebuild?

Enjoy the car, but a total rebuild could be price prohibitive.

I've been dealing with trans problems here of late. Personally I would drain the converter, install a K1 kit, service the unit, check the cable free play, and bad feed to modulator...... If u had a cable or modulator issue it would affect shift quality in all gears...... Good luck!!!

I agree do the a full fluid and filter change incl torque converter, install K1 spring kit and see if that helps. Total cost shouldn't exceed $60 if you can do it yourself. K1 spring kit is easy...just need a screwdriver.
