ARGH!! 300E wrecked! 3/3 week
I've had quite the week. If bad things come in threes, I'm 3/3. Broke a rib surfing, a family member passed away and now my 300E just got smashed.
I was stopped at a red light in traffic and a woman rear-ended me doing about 15 MPH. Her car (Plymouth Caravelle) was toast. The rear of my car suffered quite a bit of damage. She hit the bumper and then her car slid under mine. The impact popped my trunk lid. The damage as I could see it was - both taillights gone, some frame damage (not extensive, but still bent), the trunk lid, muffler torn off, spare tire storage area damaged. I think the insurance company will fix the car for me (i.e. not a write-off). I'm wondering if there is any other damage I should be worried about from this type of an accident? The transmission? Differential? Engine mounts? Any advice would be appreciated, I'm still kinda foggy from the whole thing. Thx.
