Need a link for intake manifold replacement m103

Plastic connector broke off while disconnecting vacuum lines while replacing idle control valve. Looks like the manifold has to come off in order to retrieve the broken piece(correct?) Need info. on removing and replacing intake manifold. THANKS

I can't remotely envision what you are referring to, but have you tried using a shop vac or some other method for retrieving it? How about a stick with some duct tape wadded up glue side out on one end? Pulling the intake manifold seems like a huge amount of effort. Got a picture?

Thanks guys for the suggestions. Idle control valve is replaced without having to remove the intake manifold . What broke was the rubber hose of the ICV that attaches into the manifold. I was able to get the broken piece out.
