92 300ce Where are the under hood ground connections?

The ABS and ASR lights flash in my 300ce when I go over bumps. I assume this is caused by a loose ground under the hood. I know I have seen a diagram of all the ground points under the hood somewhere. Does anybody have a link?

Follow the big black wire (-) from the battery. See where it goes.

Also check your battery connections. They should be clean and snug.

You may be able to find a wiring diagram online for the W124 or you may have to get a workshop manual; which has all the diagrams and torque specs. In case you're going to be doing any other work on your MB, take a look at the link below to our site's DIY tech articles on various components!

I don't know specific locations for all the grounds but any point where brown wires terminated in eyelets are bolted directly to the body is a ground. I'd also look into the overload relay as it can get jostled too and is integral to powering those systems.

Rcktsled, the main ground connection is in front of the battery, as Elektri mentioned. OVP relay is behind the black plastic piece behind the battery. Need to remove both to access the OVP relay.

Thanks for all the suggestions. OVP is new and secure. I have checked the ground at the battery. I'm sure I have seen a diagram showing 6-8 different ground points under the hood for various components. I was looking for that diagram.
