PLASTIC BODY PANELS - WHAT TYPE USED?
On my white 2006 E350 Wagon, between the wheel wells, the frame under the doors is hidden by a long, molded strip of white plastic. Rocker panel cover. Somehow a fist size piece has been punched out of it. As the hole is mostly out of sight sort of under the car, it should be fairly easy to repair decently.
Does anyone know what type of plastic MBZ used so I can use solvent cement on the repair? It could be ABS, PVC, linear Polyethylene or Polyurethane. Has anyone done a similar repair – advice solicited. Many thanks in advance. Ron
