Don't put all of the blame on Mercedes, Uncle Sam has their fingers in the "cake" also. The new emission laws require car makers to install "On-board vapor recovery systems" on 60 percent of the new cars. This system makes it hard to completely fill the tank. Other car makes are having the same problems.
