"HELP" timing chain side rails
I really need help Im removing the cylinder heads on a 89 420 sel to have them rebuilt the problem im having is removing the pins that holds the timing chain side rails they have an internal thread i can tread abolt into i then pulled on the bolt but the pin would not come out

Do a search on "slide rail bolt"
... you'll need to fashion a homemade tool like a socket with a washer and a spacer using that 6mm bolt you have.

Here you go
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?threadid=37925&highlight=bearing+pin I ended up having to pull the lower cover off and running a die down on it to remove the pin. You will have to do it this way if the internal threads strip on the pin.

Thanks for the help i used the socket and washers it work with all except one in which the bolt broke no big deal ill just have to easy-out the bolt
