I have a factory rebuilt engine in my 79 240D, which I'm interested in transfering to another 240D or 300D. The tag from the rebuilt engine reads "Teil-Nummer" A 616 010 98 00 /82. I have the York AC compressor. Any advice as to which 123s I can stick this engine in?? Thanks.

I don't remember specific dates, but any with pull to start glow systems will fit in the same kind. Any with the key glow will fit in the same. good luck
