Self-leveling suspension on W124 Saloon (sedan?)

Hey guys and gals. Question...would the self-leveling suspension (W124 300TE) go well on W124, 300D? I can get my hands on a complete kit from U-Pull for a pretty reasonable price and I was wondering if it would work on my ‘92 300D.

I’ve tried to search for a poor sap who’s had this crazy idea before be, but to no avail.

Pros, cons, and insults accepted and appreciated.
