I am asking this question here as I have had no useful input from the UK boards. Everyone there is hoping for me to enlighten them!
I plan to replace the seals on my coupé due to cracking and hardness leading to wind noise and possibly to ingress of water. I have now received the genuine MB seals and would like to do the job myself if there is little risk of making a complete hash of it. At nearly €500 for the 2 seals, I need to get this right.
I refer to Item 42 highlighted in the attached picture.
Has anyone ever replaced these seals? If so, is there any wisdom you can impart to the uninitiated?
Any guidance would be most gratefully received.
