Question which oil 416 cdi sprinter.?

could someone please tell me what oil is recommended for a 416 cdi sprinter.the problem i have is that i bought a motor home from germany which is built on 416 cdi chasis all the literature i have is in german so i thought i would be better safe than sorry and ask the experts rather than use the wrong oil.

The best oil to use is a "universal" grade. This is designed specifically for diesels. My preference is Chevron Delo 400 Multigrade, but there other good ones including, Shell Rotella T, Mobil Delvac, Mobil Delvac One(synthetic).

There are many that meet diesel classifications, but the ones above are designed specifically for diesels for better soot dispersion.

Good luck,

I prefer Penzoil Long Life myself.
