My daughters 1985 300DT in Plano Texas, keeps going flat. Battery and alternator replaced less than 3 months ago. She is a full time student and has a full time job, she needs a good mechanic or auto electrican to repair vehicle. I (her father) leave western Washington and feel helpless to support any body avialable please reply.

What do you mean by "flat"? Will the engine turn over? I take it the DT is diesel. If it won't start, it may be time to change the fuel filters. -- JCV

Someone needs to perform an amperage draw test on the car. To do this they will need a Fluke 77 or higher multimeter. Just take loose the - battery terminal and put the two wires of the meter between them. The reading should be 300 to 400 ma. If its higher there is a drain on the system somewhere.
