I currently have an 87 300e which I truly enjoy as this is my second 300e. I have located a one owner 91 560sec in excellent condition and a good price. I would like some feedback on the sec. Is it as enjoyable to drive as the 300e I have always liked the sec because of its styling and rarirty. I know the reliability of the 300e is execellant. What about the sec. Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks, Don |

The 560SEC is a great car to drive. And I mean drive. The thing is really fast and feels great on the road; the only draw back in my opinion is the cost of yearly up-keep. Any 126 is costly to maintain.

I have an '89 SEC, and I love it. The car has ample room, a wonderful and trouble-free engine, and a great ride. There is plenty of power when needed. My only complaint is the AC system, but even that is not a reason not to buy. It is just not as sophisticated and quiet at times as more modern systems. But I leave in Texas, where it takes alot of time on high fan to cool down after a day in the sun.
