Well, you are pretty brief on that description of your problem. So give us a little detail on how or when it stops. Are you going down the road at speed and it dies? Or you come to a stop and it dies? Is the car equipped with an automatic or a manual transmission? So many variables and all you can say is that after a few minutes it dies and that really doesn't lead to much. This car probably has the early mechanical fuel injection also. So tell us more and you might get what you need. I do know that cars can stop while running simply because the ignition switch is badly worn and just a bump or other keys hanging on the key ring can cause the ignition to shut the engine down.
