if you have to pull the cluster, push it out from below with that panel off. the hooks for pulling clusters have a bad habit of slipping, then hooking the clear lens-cracking it. never done but saw it plenty of times. good luck, chuck.

LOL, oh those clusters that have never been out! super tight that's for sure, I've done a few with good luck, will be super careful on this one!

I may have to do that, I've found some schematic's on my car, man there's a lot of stuff in these cars, all I really need to find is power distribution from ignition switch to EZL, since I lose voltage on 2 sockets @EZL, my son is helping me find schematic's but the sites are vague, there's a site called NEXEDGE starfinder with all the schematic's, but dead link.

I was able to download AutoDesk to read it, but 1st link is dead

I know they used the W124 chassis for my R129, a lot of parts have W124 on them, I do own a 92 300E, have all the schematic's for it, I'm going to take a look at the schematic for ignition switch/EZL and power distribution set up.

Its been over 100F everyday for 30 days here in Temecula Ca. so hard to get anything done.

Will ask the 500E board thanks!

So tapped on bottom of ignition switch and all started working, so 99% sure I need new electrical part.
