headlamp aiming procedure

Just replaced both xenon headlamps and I'm having some trouble aiming them. I'm fairly sure you can't use the 'ol bubble level on these babies. Anyway, is there an attachment or method to find the center of the beam to align the lamps with one of those new headlamp aiming systems that uses the rearview mirror as a center reference? You have to place markers on the center of the headlamp beam and I can't seem to get it. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Gary

First you need to "learn in" the adjustment motor positions into the HRA control module. After that they're usually spot-on.
Need the SDS to do this learning procedure. Kind of fun to do it....zip they're at the top up the travel, zot they're at the bottom of the travel, then they go to an adjusted position based on the front and rear level sensors.

ps Why did you need to replace both headlight assemblies? Just curious.
