1994 E320 Sedan Driver Side Door Lock would not open the Door
On my 1994 E320 sedan, the driver side door lock continues to lock the door with the key but is unable to unlock the driver side door once locked and the Key would not turn fully in the lock or open the door. Has someone experienced similar problem? Would squirting some lubricant help or is there another way to handle this issue. Any suggestions?

Sounds similar to my problem with accidentally putting the wrong key in the door and it binding up after a slight turn. You might get away with a shot of WD-40 or similar in the lock, but you may have to swap the tumbler barrel out for the passenger side and just live with the problem on the passenger door. You can't swap the entire mechanism side for side, but the tumbler should swap over. BEWARE when you get the barrel out that bits don't go flying everywhere. Google will point you to how to remove the barrel.

My SDL had this problem in both of the front door locks. Shooting some Silicone spray (leaves a DRY film) in the lock, then inserting and removing the key several times followed by gently working the lock back and forth restored operation and been fine ever since.
