My car is a 2004 CLK320 (W209) Coupe, VIN WDBTJ65J74F084687:

The right rear window cable lift window regulator has come apart and will not raise or lower the window. Motor works fine. I have bought new cable and plastic parts.

I am stuck.

I am having difficulty accessing the regulator for removal and repair. Have removed top window trim, upper side panel, seat bottom and upholstered piece between seat back and side panel. I cannot figure out how to remove right rear seat to then allow removal of lower side panel. The seat does not tilt forward as shown in manual. I have removed bolts at bottom.

Once I remove glass through top and remove side panel, how do I remove regulator panel? Through top, also? need to remove motor first? Any help will be appreciated.
