pushbutton lights w124
I have been having some intermittent interior lighting probs on my 95 e320. The latest involves the right half of my a/c pushbutton lights being dim when headlights are on. I was able to solve the problem for quite a while by tapping hard on the wood surround until the lights magically came back up. This no longer seems to do the trick. If anyone has some instructions on how to get at the bulbs (if this is the problem), I'd appreciate it.
Thanks. |

There are two lightbulbs...
Remove the wood cover and you will see a couple of small aluminium foil squares next to the pushbuttoms. That is where the lightbulbs are. This is the way I did it, buy the new ones and get a rubber hose the size of the lighbulb. Remove the aluminium foil and "hook" the old ones on with the rubber hose, twist and remove. Replace with new lighbulb and do the reverse. Takes 10 minutes max. Good luck!
Get right wattage lightbulbs.
