I've had a '98 CLK320 for about a year. Some questions:

1. The fuel gauge sometimes acts quirky. It will read empty even though the tank is completely full. This happens every once in awhile. The dealer has changed it twice but the same problem occurs.

2. When coasting at about 15-25 mph in second gear the car seems to lurch forward abruptly when the gas is applied. This occurs only around these speeds and it seems to happen only in 2nd gear. Pedal pressure is constant (not floored). Is this normal?
