Dear friends:

A recent post mentioned an article in STAR magazine re seat reconditioning. I have just subscribed but, of course, I don't have access to this article. If someone would be willing to scan and email the article to me I would be obliged - the driver's seat in my 300E is really sagging. I think the previous owner must have weighed 400lbs...

Thanks, Benzmac - but I've literally just subscribed, so I don't think I'll receive that particular issue. I'd really appreciate if someone could forward it...

Nick,
The article you seek is in the March/April 99 issue of the Star. (guy waving 2 checkered flags on cover) I know the Star does reprints for any previous issue. The article is entitled "Driveway Mechanic: How to Rebuild W124 Front Seats"
You could drive down to your local dealership. If your lucky they might have a copy in the waiting room.

Best of Luck...Lee
