Need help testing wiper motor w124
wiper does not run when in car. When I pull the motor and connect hot and ground to pins 3 and 5 it runs, not pins 2 and 5 though. I also tested the switch by checking the power at the connector everything checks out. Is it possible the motor works but the wiring in the motor that tells it when to work went bad?

I have tested the connector on the car side. I tested all modes on the switch and the power moves around like it should.

How does the motor get grounded when it is installed? I’m guessing an open ground when installed but completed when jumpering/bench testing???
Good luck!!!
