W124 front turn lenses Types

Is there 2 sizes? One for the 85-93 and one for the 94-95? Got a 93 with ecodes but the turn signals aren’t fitting at all. I bought a new set and they don’t fit. They came off my 94. Ok. So the question is do I need a special lense for the 93 with ecodes?

Speednjay they only make 2 types of wing for the W124 the petrol saloon wings from 1985 till 1995 are all the same .Even the disel W124 wing is the same looking wing other than the diesel will have slits in the side . So no reason to think that the lights are not universal . All the lights are the same dimentions to look at ,,other than the internal looks, and colour . Try pushing thumb clip to the outside of the car as you push the light in once in the hole

'94-95 got a "facelift" and the lamp assemblies are different. You may need the turn signals from a '86-93. Not sure if the US and ECE turn signals are the same.

I can’t get pictures at the moment. It’s my daughters car. 93 300e. We put on ecodes with her same turn signals. Which they fell off on the hwy. yes I had it latched in... I’m pretty sure. I then put my 94 corners on and they wouldn’t even try to fit. Wasn’t happening. I was under the impression that everything was interchangeable. Before I track down a set I wanted to confirm exactly what I needed

If the euro lights are aftermarket then you can have some fitment issues but all of the corner lights are exactly the same aside from the different color lenses.

All W124 wings are the same if 1985 to 1995 so lights fit the same apatures . I have 4 wings here at my garage one was off my old W124 1989 the other is new wing for my 1995 . All the same . Do a check on Ebay for the side lights forthese Mercedes W124 and look at the dates .

That thumb tab is often overlooked and is the cause of the lamp gone AWOL on the highway.

Early late fit the same ,ive got a 1994 wagon and when my 94 lense fell off I couldn't find a clear lense replacement( didn't want to pay$ 70 ) so I used early style yellow, they work just fine, I finally found clears at the local pick a part im going to change them back to 94 style
