'95 e320 wiring harness

Is there more than 1 wiring harness on the car?

I have read places there is a smaller harness as well as the major harness?

I assume both have the biodegradable problems?

Biodegradable insulation exists with the upper harness, lower harness (starter, alternator, oil level) and throttle actuator.

The lower harness is just a few wires and only 3 wires in that bundle go bad. Easy to fix. The starter, battery and alternator wires seem to be good

Your car has 10 or more harnesses. It's not a lawn mower.

Actually it's all the wires in the car. The reason why the ones around the engine fail is due to heat. Newer benzes (after 1997) have upgraded wires only in high heat areas. Other areas they still use the bio wiring.
