iN Need of some advice..

I am trying to refit the fuel distributor assembly in my 1989 560 SEL, However, I cannot provide for an airtight seal between the lower rubber fuel housing and the throttle throat. this has been a contious problem on this car...

Have you done this job? how did you get the lower housing to match up with the throttle housing?

Any insights would be much appreciated....
