I need to order original Interior Fabric for my 1979 W123 Mercedes. The only known sources are in Germany & UK. None of these suppliers will ship overseas. Is there someone that lives in Europe, that will let me order & ship the Fabric to their address & I will pay you the costs to ship to me in USA?

There is a place out of the Netherlands that ships to the us, if it is still around. I paid around 300 for 4 square meters. Plenty to do the entire car plus some. The transaction involved a bank transfer. Let me see if I can find that information. I found the company from the Pelican Porsche forum. the oTher thing is they were selling out of a lot of the older styles so its a maybe. Its a fraction of the cost as Cabrio.de or one of the other high end places from De, forgot the name.

They have some of the classic colors left still. Make up a business name when addressing them. Shouldn't be an issue. Mine came very quickly. I was worried about the transfer, but it went well. Had to pay customs.$25 or 50 I can't remember.

Pretty penny for that compared to the Netherland route. Is the OP looking for showroom quality? Be prepared to pay more than the value of the car for an interior.. I tried that. I think they quoted me at nearly 2k for two front seat covers, without install. Interior work is nearly as much as paint work.

When I checked years ago, World Upholstery did not carry the cloth material. If they do now, it is around the same rate as cabrio.de, pricey. If you want a show car, go for it. I used (*** PM me) to make the seat covers. Worked out well. I would say the manufacturer, but I think Pelican offers seat covers.

Thanks to C. Donner tip I tried contacting the Netherlands Supplier. They only want to sell to a Auto Trimmer business. I gave them my restoration Business info, but haven't heard back again yet. I will probably try calling the German suppliers that say on their website , no overseas shipping, as a last resort.

I just clicked the checkout box, they sent me the wire info, I completed the transaction through an online international wire service. All correspondences for info or samples went unanswered. It was a little unnerving, but no issue came up. Others have had success doing the same.

I have found two excellent sources for W123 original Fabric & for other vintage Mercedes , plus received within days. prices much better then the potential Netherlands & UK sources too
