I just purchased a 1983 300SD Turbo Diesel. My friend wants to adjust the valves; he doesn't know the proper calibration. Can someone give me a hint?

PS How are these cars? What kind of problem(s) is typical in that particular model?

Any insight will be appreciated.
Thanks

I believe the spec is .10mm intake and .35mm exhaust. These are among the most reliable cars ever made! Good purcase.
