Differential pinion seal replacement on 300E

Does anyone have a procedure for replacing the differential pinion seal on an 87 300E?

I am wondering if you need a special tool to remove the flange nut so that you do not damage the pinion gears with too much torque.

Also, what is the torque spec when reassembling the nut on the flange?

Do you need to replace a crush washer with a new one on reassembly?
