Ignition Tumbler stuck

I have done some internet searching and found an Ignition lock Cylinder for $30 + shipping. A phone call to a local shop told me I only need to replace the tumbler. I do not see any tumblers posted on any parts websites. Any advice out there.

Tumbler = lock clyinder assembly. Order by VIN from Benz and get a new kay and have the same key for the entire car.

Follow Joe's advice. You need to be able to turn the tumbler to the #1 position to replace it. If you can't do that, then follow Potomac Pat's advice, because this issue has been well covered in previous threads.

Good luck,
Peter
