1983 300CD air conditioning system loses its freon over a approximate 10-14 day period. Mechanic has pressure tested the system and did not find the leak. I will be taking the car back to the shop this week for another try, is there any know problem areas I could recommend my mechanic to check? Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

Have your Mechanic put color dye to the system, this way should easier find the leaks.
freon leak can develop any time in an automobile.....color dye is the best way to find the leaks in your air condition system.
good lock.

Have the car looked at by a MB specialist. Usually they know right where to look! The dye is also a good idea, it is what I use.

Thanks for the advice, the problem was the "combo a/c hose" ($288).
FYI- the total job, part+R-12+labor was $500.
Thanks again.
