R129 Infrared Issue
I have a 96 r129 with the IRC in the rear view mirror. My issue is that the locks will not unlock using the infrared fob. When I press the fob, the green light on the mirror flashes, but the PSE pump does not run. I am able to lock and unlock using the key in doors/trunk as well as using the switch on dash. Locking the locks using the infrared fob works as it should.
I have tried an alternate mirror as well as a PSE pump.
Batteries are fresh on fobs. And I have not found any broken or damaged wires. I have tested the wires for resistance from mirror back to IRC Module and then to pSE. All good.
Any suggestions? My next step is to replace the module if nothing else.
